The purpose of the proposal is to indicate your intention to apply for a Vogt Award, and to provide a basic outline of the project.

Proposals are submitted electronically via Gust. When you're ready to begin filling out your application, simply click the link below. - You are able to complete portions of your work and save.  The information provided will not be viewable by others until you select Submit.  You are also able to log back in and provide additional updates.

The only initial requirement is completion of the one page proposal. Applicants selected to continue in the competition will be asked at a later date to upload additional documentation.

Proposals will be screened for completeness by Vogt Award staff and assigned to the Vogt Selection Committee. The Vogt Award staff reserves the right to check an applicant’s general financial good standing with a credit check and with the State of Kentucky Secretary of the Treasury.

Please submit your proposal by 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011.

Applicants will be notified of their standing no later than October 7, 2011, at which time they may be invited to submit their full business plan. Proposals lacking the required components or not meeting the eligibility requirements will receive no further review.
