Funding
Amounts, and Award Period
Up to $250,000 per year is available from the $5 million endowment.
A specially appointed Vogt Award Selection Committee may elect
to award the full amount for the year to one applicant, divide
it among several worthy projects, or choose to award a smaller
amount each year. This does NOT mean that each awardee will receive
$250,000. Payments
are contingent on successful attainment of specific milestones
negotiated by the applicant and The Vogt Award Selection Committee
prior to the initial distribution of award funds.
The Vogt Award will generally NOT be used to fund general research, product conception, or to repay debt incurred prior to winning the award.
